Hey guys,

This has been my WIP for a while now, and I've finally finished him in time for GD tomorrow.

Obviously there is no time to change anything now, but any general C&C to help me in future would be lovely.

Now for pics! Apologies for poor quality/lighting, best I could do.

Thanks, LAF

Looks good, maybe you should lighten his skin tone a bit.

his skin tones fine. dont listen to ghosttwosix. I think the models done very nicely.

from what I can see in the blurryness, your highlights seem fine the skin is done excellently, I can actually make out the features very nicely, with a very good shadowing effect around the face. the gun seems abit bland, but Im sure thats just from the blurry pictures.

Again, I apologise for the quality of the pictures, it was raining and I figured I should get some, because I had to drop him in tonight and from there, if I get through I won't see him for a few weeks.

The pictures actually make the gun look quite rough, but I agree it's a little bit bland. Regrettably I noticed while taking the pictures.

The skin tone is actually quite light, again it's the pictures not the model.

Thanks for all the compliments guys, I appreciate it :)

Righto, sorry for the epic bump, but I just thought I'd let you know I did not get through regionals, but I did come close :)

He said a bit more highlighting on the cloak, base and flesh would've made it better (cloak was a bit flat, I tend to agree) as well as brighter gold (which I don't agree with, it IS personal preference, but I took it onboard anyway :))

I've also been trying to finally get my army underway - 5yrs in the hobby without a complete army is not a good idea :p So I'll be starting up a weekly worklog to keep me motivated sometime in the next few days when I can be bothered to take pictures.
