Hey guys,
After seeing the possibilities offered by Forum-Hammer, http://www.heresy-online.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=206, I was wondering if there was a possibity that the Blood Bowl comunity would be able to set up a similar system.
I dont think I would be able to make up the sprites/field as I am currently in a cast right now.

Just drop a response and we'll see how many people are interested!

I'd be well up for that, I love the beautiful game! :-D

Not sure how it would work mind. I'll have a butchers around the internerd and see if anything springs to mind.

Should be easy to do though, with only 16 men tops per team it'll be a piece of wee!

I think to be honest you would be better off using Vassal for this (if vassal have a way of playing Blood Bowl as I'm not very in the know with Vassal). There just isn't enough interest in this to start up a whole Blood Bowl forumhammer style game yet. The Warhammer Forumhammer has a massive target audience, unfortunately there's much less of us specialist gamers than WHFB gamers, making it less likely for something like this to kick off and be successful. It's more likely to just wither away and die and have been a pointless excercise.

It's a good idea, but not yet.

I couldn't find the blood bowl vassal module but if someone could link it to me I would be very grateful. From what I gather though, there is no way of saving progress on your team other than the old fashioned method of writing it down somewhere.

Fumbbl is more complete in the sense that all your team is updated for you. It also has a league manager where all fixtures can be displayed. This eliminates a lot of the bookkeeping. The only (quite significant) downside to fumbbl is that they use lrb4 which I am not a massive fan of. However, it's still blood bowl and is probably the best option for a league.

The only other option that I am aware of involves us all going out and forking out around £12 on the cyanide blood bowl game which I am sure that none of us are particularly willing to do.

Of course we'd have to see if there are enough people interested. I think four or five would be a decent enough number.

I'm not familiar with either Vassal or Fumbll but I'm sure there's someone able to help you out in the Vassal sub-forums under the General 40K section. If anybody can help you, they'll be there :)

I would recommend the Blood Bowl video game though, it's actually very good.

An easy example that comes to my mind is the fact that you can never elect not to use grab. This means that your grabber will almost never crowd push again.

Great if you can get it for free; not so great if you have to fork out fifteen notes for it.
