I bought the storm claw box set to add to my wolves and now starting at small ork army to be used as allies. In the book the Formation Grukks Rippin Krew can arrive buy deep strike on the first turn and no rolls needed. my question is i want to use the all an allies unit with my eldar, Can they be my allies legally? Do still need a Allied HQ, and two troop choices to use them? I might be over thinking this but i just think dropping that whole unit in someones face on the first turn is nasty, almost to good to be true lol.

If it's a Formation, you can bring it in your Eldar army. I don't really know why you would, as I believe Eldar and Orks are Desperate Allies if not Come The Apocalypse and the Krew isn't exactly game-swingingly powerful, but you can bring Formations as their own self-contained detachment, yes.

I just want to have a fun and different game, I think dropping a ork horde on a tau friend of mine would be halarious, it will help keep my other units alive longer

Sure, but look in the rulebook at the ally relationship between orks and eldar. They will have to deploy at least 12" apart (not a problem in this case), but there are other considerations too that you need to consider in terms of playing the two together and winning games.

they only need to be 6" away, and they will just be a blob to tie up a tau player while my shooting units get in close and snatch objectives

Sounds like it will work out nicely for you then! I encourage you to write a batrep from your trials with it.
