Hey folks. I'm not accustomed to playing games of this size so I figured I'd ask y'all for some advice.

The restrictions are as follows:

- No models with more than 2 wounds.
- No models with 2+ armor saves.
- No Special Characters (so we won't be seeing Marneus Calgar)
- The total Armor Value of a vehicle may not exceed 33.
- Only one Troop choice is compulsory. Everything else is optional, though you can only take one choice in each other Force Organization Chart section (i.e. one Fast Attack choice, one Heavy Support or HQ choice and so on).

Troops: Assault Squad (6#, 165 pts)
3 Assault Squad (Meltagun; Razorback)
1 Assault Marine with Meltagun
1 Sergeant (Melta Bombs; Bolt Pistol; Power Weapon)
1 Razorback (Extra Armor)

Elite: Sanguinary Priest (1#, 65 pts)
1 Sanguinary Priest (Sanguinary Priest in Power Armour, Power Sword)

Fast Attack: Attack Bike Squad (3#, 150 pts)
3 Attack Bike Squad @ 150 pts (Multi-Melta x3)

Heavy Support: Dreadnought (1#, 120 pts)
1 Dreadnought (Twin Linked Autocannon; Twin Linked Autocannon)

Total Roster Cost: 500

Thoughts anybody? :)

Hey katie,

you said the total armour value couldnt exceed 33 a dread is 34 isnt it?
The only worry i would have is the small amount of marines, the attack bikes are good but if you play against a sw player he can spam misiles in small games so that might wreck your anti-marine/tank killer squad (unless you can shoot his squad 1st:))
other than that only thing is guard blob or ork boy blob, you dont have much anti-horde except the hb

Hope this helps (kinda my 1st time giving advice)

Ugh, crap. Thanks very much for pointing out the Dreadnought issue... *sighs* I'm rather disappointed with myself for missing that one. I'll edit this post with a revised list shortly.

I'd suggest you swapping attack bikes for a Land Speeder Typhoon.

Yes, it's more fragile and worse antitank but you won't see any good armour under those rules and if you aren't absolutely sure Chimera spam will be present I'd say 2 multimeltas are overkill.

And Typhoon+extra HB would solve antihorde problem, more or less.

Hope this helps.

I like the new list very much. It has good assaulting potential, good against those nasty MEQ and has 2 twin HB to thin down horde so you can finish them off in assault. Are you planning on keeping all the units within the FNP priest bubble? I would suggest doing so, atleast for your bikers anyway, t5 3+ save with FNP and 2 wounded models, unless your opponent is packing a lot of high ap fire-power your sweet. Only qualm is you have 45pts on uprades i personally dont use to often which are melta-bombs and ea. but i see how ea can help alot in the list, the bombs do seem out of place though, you have MEQ assaulters with tank bombs (you have 2 melta-guns and 2 mm for that perpose) If you swapped your sargeants bombs for dozerblades on the RB you would have no chance of not getting to where you need to be, unless you are blown up, ofcourse.

I hope you go well in the tourney. (if this is going to a tourney that is lol)
