This is what I came up with what models I currently have. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Here is and updated list, dropped the lord and went with the Thane up my warrior bands by 5 each and tooled out my Bolt Thrower.

Drop the runes of cleaving on the Lord give him a great weapon. The shield does nothing for you since a 1+ is the best you can get. I wouldnt advise running such small units of warriors, I would say one of 20 and keep the longbeards.

rune of stone can't be taken twice on the same model, though it can be used on multiple characters as their only rune

personally i don't think you need a lord at 1k, i'd take a thane with great weapon (chances are he'll be last anyway) rune of stone pluss if you want a ward, take 2xrune of iron

plough the rest of the points in to upping the unit sizes of the warriors and longbeards
