Hi all, just to voice a question as see if im correct.

the feel no pain rules sate that it cant be used for instant death or AP1 or AP2 hits.

Later it also state "Any other wound which no Armour save can ever be taken"

- Based on the comment above would this included weapons who's AP matches the targets Armour meaning it will have no Armour save

I.E a Sm with Power Armour and Feel no pain gets hit by a vengeance round at AP3

No, it is not based upon the armor/AP comparison. Only if the rule specifies that no armor save may be taken. Check out the examples given for it and it makes more sense. Things like Dangerous Terrain and Perils of the Warp.

If an armour save could be taken, you get FNP - any armour save, not just the model in question.

See Plaguebearers, who otherwise get no benefit from the rule as they have no armour save.

The key word in the phrase there is ever (at least for this part of the rules) it means it does not work against power weapons rending weapons on a 6 and so on

I'm not sure what the vengeance stat line is but its not the double of the strength or has any other special rules to it you can not take the armour save because of the ap3 but you can take the feel no pain save.

You can not use feel no pain when you are hit by a AP 1 or 2 weapon, when the strength of the hit is double the toughness or when the weapon has a special rule that lets it ignore all armour saves.

you may not use feel No Pain in the follwing cerimstances.

1 - You take an Ap1 or Ap2 hit.
2 - A power wepaon/fist and the like that don't allow saves.
3 - Rendging attack that rend, aka roll a 6.
4 - A Strength doble weapons to your toughness. Eg a Krak missile on a Death Comapany marine.
