Really? I've seen Lostprofs twice and each time I was really dissapointed, especially with his vocals.

Wow all the recordings and vids of him that I've seen I've been quite impressed with him. Which shows were they?

Oh man there are so many, so of the top of my head;

- Hansi Kursch - Blind Guardian - well's it blind guardian, just blame it on the memories all of the great concerts I've seen of them
- Peter Tagtgren - hypocrisy - a beast of a voice with great range
- Devin Townsend - DTband / strapping young lad - another monster of a voice
- Whiplasher - Deathstars, that voice just gives me the chills, in a good way
- Freddy Mercury - Queen (duh indeed!)
- Tobias Sammet - Edguy - yes, yes I know kind of 'wrong' music ;)
- Howard Jones - Killswitch Engage - once more have to agree with cccp_one
- Ilja Jalkanen - Kiuas - just like the sound and the fantastic music of course

I could probably keep going for 10 more minutes...but work calls :?
Ah well there goes my vacation.........'science doesn't take vacation'

I've only heard of about 3 of those people, and I really don't like Freddy Mercury. I thought I'd misread "Howard Jones" the first time, for people my age he's areally different dude...

Andrew Eldritch, Black Francis, Bjork, Nick Cave and "her from Mazzy Star whose name escapes me" are all quite good, for different reasons.

I stand corrected about Ian Watkins then. For them the nest album is going to be the teller - if they do another Lib Trib then I'm going to be very pissed.

Next name i put forward would be

Billy Joe Armstrong - Greenday
John Toogood - Shihad
Dave King - Flogging Molly

Well I really love the band Amorphis both when Pasi Koskinen was the lead singer and now with Tomi Joutsen.
Hansi Kursch is extremely talented both with Demons and Wizards and Blind Guardian
God Bless Matt Barlow! Even though he isn't the lead singer of Iced Earth anymore I still think of him as the one time truly great vocalist of that bands history.
And lastly Anneke VonGiersbergen of the Gathering.
and I agree 100% with bloodhound about Khan of Kamelot.

Well those are my opinions.

Hmmmmm....
For starters I'de say the King, Elvis Presley.
Then maybe Jim Morrisson, Ozzy Osbourne, Danzig, Morrissey, Robert Plant, Mike Ness from Social Distortion, Joey Ramone, Freddy Mercury, and my own two favorites, Phil Lynnot and P Paul Fenech.

I like Maynard more in A Perfect Circle a smidge more than Tool.

I'm really digging Maroon 5 right now.
