Just been fishing as I went onto FW.

This comes fromSimon Kirkham -

As for Warhammer Fantasy models. There is currently a Warhammer Project in its early stages and expect to hear more about it towards the end of the year.
Make of it what you will, whether it's new units, IA style book, or just news about what they're working on...

I know. I'm giving it its own thread and confirming it - not to mention a date hadn't been given until now.

I would agree, Chaos Dwarves would be the obvious thing, similar to FW's specialist imperial armies starting out with a specialist fantasy army seems like a logical move. It would pay for the initial outsets for getting FW-fantasy going as it would make quite a lot of sales of whole armies.

My wishlist though is a FW horned rat, that and WFB-apocalypse

Could be the long rumoured Chaos Dwarf forgeworld army thats been mentioned time and time again.
that is the first project I believe but it sounds like they have oodles more already planned.

oodles is a very underused word imo

Although it would be a wonderful thing to see the Chaos Dwarves once again, even if they're not tournament legal, I'm not so sure setting a brand new "career" off with a brand new army. Surely it would be better to gauge interest by releasing something akin to an Imperial Armour/Legendary Battles equivalent, where every army benefits from it, before launching full blown into a new army?
