I ordered the Chaos Dreadnought missile launcher arm from Forgeworld the other day and it comes with a small extra bit, as you can see in the picture on their site.

Does anyone know what it's for, or where it's supposed to go? Looking at the other arms on their site though I think I've been sent the wrong bit, I've got the one from the right arms. Which could explain why it doesn't fit anywhere...

It's a targeter and I think it gets mounted under the dreadnoughts carapace next to where the arm goes on the mk4 dreadnought.

I think its the little sensor thingy that goes under the body. You can see it on this Alpha legion Dread http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Chaos/DREADNOUGHTS/ALPHA-LEGION-DREADNOUGHT.html

If you're just putting it on a regular GW dread, then it doesn't really have a place

It goes just under the front armour plate, at the hips look at some of the forge workd dreadnoughts that have Dreadnought CCWs and there is a stormbolter mounted there. These pieces are already on the plastic dreadnoughts hips so it would be unnecessary but you will need it if you have a forge world body
