use an elector count or as the new book says a general of the empire they're better and are actually good in combat I hate the arch lector in the book the one in a white dwarf was better.

Personally I would take advantage of the unlimited points banner for the captain probally the imperial banner instaed of magic items.

Thw arrior priest is fine don't change him atall dawn armor is a personal fave ecspecially with a barded steed one thing though change sword of batte to hammer of battle. Hammers look better on a warrior priest it has the same rules but its a hammer.

Wizard is ok but I would give him 2 dispell scrolls.

Your core are alright but the hangunner unit should be bigger I usually take 20.the detatchments are fine too.

the knights you should make inner circle so its a 10 men strong unit

Knights I already mention above.

Pistolers are great keep them.

cannon and mortar a must have in any good empire army.

Whats with the 2 warmachines thats not enough in 2000pts I have 4, 2 cannons 1 mortar and a helblaster whichs breings me onto my next point where is the helblaster or helblasters??????

Helblasters arn't as good as they used to be but they still make a large dent in any unit.

PD: 4, for one wizard thats alright. DD: 6, for a 2000pt army with only one wizard thats quite good.

so basically you are on your way to making a good list but still have a tiny way to go.
