So I need some opinions, suggestions, and if possible, maybe a few pictures.

Let me start simple.

I hate the aesthetic that Eldar use for their tanks.

Vypers are cool. Venoms and the new Starweaver/Voidweaver? Cool. But anything else using the organic Eldar tank hull doesn't do it for me. I find them, well, too organic. Bug-like. Which is a shame, since the Hornet and the Fire Prism are great tanks.

However, I DO like the Raider hull, and feel that it would work nicely in a Saim Hann style cavalry list like I'm making.

Can anyone think of ways to mesh the two? Are Raiders much too small? Maybe usable as Hornets, if not Fire Prisms?

lastly... I've heard the Tantalus is too big for a Fire Prism, even though it's not a Superheavy, the model is that size.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

I can see a couple of way of doing it but i guess it all depends on your modeling skills. I would build the hull of the raider by itself and then make a "turret" or rotatin weapons platform in either the middle or rear of the raider itself. The i would attach just the gun piece along with a gunner. It would be much easier if i had the kits to look at but this is just off the top of my head

Unfortunately, I would say the Raider Hulls are much too small to represent a Fire Prism or any Eldar standard tank. You may be able to get by with it in a friendly/casual game, but it will never fly in an even minimally competitive scene.

That said, there is nothing stopping you from allying in Dark Eldar and tossing your units in the Raiders, they are battle brothers after all.
