I think your units are all designed quite well. The wraithlords should do a good job of looking after the guardians.

Are you going for assault or shooting as a MO? Your skimmers and council look quite agressive but your infantry looks like it wants to hang back in cover.

To be honest I don't think the guardians will be especially useful. At range they only contribute a couple of scatter lasers for quite a lot of points. They could lose out in shooting matches against near the enemy.

On the other hand if you are playing VP denial and the elite stuff is for counter assaunt then quite a lot of people will just out-shoot your guardians.

This looks like a good army to bring to friendly games but probably not optimal in tournament play. A lot depends on how you plan to use them though.

Its not really a tournament build, so its a bit of a mix really so depending on what my opp has would determine the way i'd play it. It just seems wrong to totally discount guardians from eldar so every now and then i like to put them in my army. Also they do a good job of tagging with the wraithlords as the Warlocks and farseer are bike mounted.

I wouldn't discount guardians. I think it might be possible to make quite a cool all infantry eldar army with a bunch of guardians, rangers, space clowns, maybe some reapers and maugen ra. I've rarely seen an eldar horde and I'd be interested to see if it worked. Not sure how good it would be vs enemy vehicles.

The thing is that for you I don't know how useful the guardians would be. Your opponent is quite likely to find that they are the only target for a bunch of his weaponry, since most other stuff is a tank or wraithlord, so they will end up getting shot at with heavy bolters and the like. They won't like it.

Added to that you seem to have one element of your army that goes racing off towards the enemy and a "castle" of guardians and wraithlords. However the castle doesn't really have a lot of long range firepower, so it can't provide especially good support.

As I said at the start I think all the units are well configured. I just don't think they really gel together all that well.
