Following on fromt he very excellent cake comp Heresy ran the other month I have been baking in the kitchen again.

As it was my sons 13th birthday today I decided to make him a birthday cake based on his favorite marine chapter. To be honest this was a bit of a rush job, but I was really pleased with the results.

Behold, the Crimson Fist Marine Helmet Cake!

I thought about an SM helmet cake for the competition, i even did some sketches for the cake stacking but ultimately gave up.

We did have a cake making compotition but I think you will need a higher post count to see it as it is in the comptition section. So post 14 more times to access it I have an ork head cake in there.
