I really want to take out some or all the combi-weapons but I can't seem to find better stuff to spend the points on.

Id drop the Chosen and ALL Combi-Weapons (on Rhinos and Champs) for more Oblits.
Consider dropping the PM squads down to 6 for an extra Oblit too.
I agree on the point of taking out the combi-weapons for more Obliterators, but taking out an extra Marine from the Plague Marines will be only be a disadvantage to yourself.

Not really.
Remember that they still have the Rhino for protection, and 3 units at this points level should be enough.
And plus, the extra Oblit will do a lot more damage.

6 Oblits at 1500 is a good number for a Lash/Oblit list.
It leaves 740 points for your 3 Troop choices, which is more than enough.

If you want to be even more cheesy, consider running Noise Marines with a Blastmaster (no other upgrades) in Rhinos.
Could get 4 of these units giving you 4 S8 AP3 blasts and 6 S7 AP2 blasts a turn, combined with Lash is complete and utter devastation.
Dont forget you can pop open transports with the Oblits, Lash, then drop the S8 AP3 blasts from the Noise Marines on them.

The more high-strength low-ap blasts you can fit in the list, the better.
This is coming from someone who played around 100 games with dual lash and took the victory in all but 2.

I thought of the idea of running a 6 Oblit team already. I just wanted a little more confirmation from others before I ran it.

Honestly, your second list is about as effective as you can get with Lash/Oblit/PM.
There is seriously nothing that you can improve on there.

The only variations of this that you will see are running combinations of PM's, KB's, and NM's.

Berzerkers arent a must in a Lash list.

Sure, being able to charge 1st turn is nice, but its not very often.

And plus, Plaguemarines can suprisingly be BETTER in combat than Berzerkers.

Running Plaguemarines vs Berzerkers, if the PM's get the charge then the KB's are stuffed.
In fact, even if the KB's charge the Blight Grenades will make them suffer, although the FC will still help them.

eh, plague marines are a must, zerks tend to get shot and die...easily.... sure they'll hit a unit and mual it first but where i am thats typically a 60 point guard squad with nothing special before their battle cannoned and plasma gunned down. plague marines tend to have the same issues, but unlike KB's they don't have to also worry about first rank second rank fire guardsmen blobs with their flash lights of doom!!

why would you even post a lash list? Not to bash you, but there are easily 1000+ on the forum. Its not as if this took a great deal of creativity or imagination. Or is it just ego stroking? So people will tell you have a douchey list to win the tourney?

Now now, calm down a bit.

Despite Lash lists consisting of usually the same tactics and units, almost every list i see has small differences between them, particularly with the Troop choices.
There is nothing wrong with somebody getting a little bit of advise.

And despite what you may think, Lash lists aren't anywhere near as effective as they were back in 4th before mech lists took off.
Sure, they may still be somewhat effective, but there are so many other builds now that are a LOT more competitive. They are nowhere near the effectiveness of MechGuard or anything like that.
A Lash list also requires a reasonable amount of tactics to be successful. You cant just Lash+blast. A lot more to it than that, particularly in later turns.

If you really want to see a copy/paste list, go over to the Chaos Daemons section and look up Tally lists.
Basically, there is only 1 way to run them, and every list pretty much looks the same in every way shape and form.

I do i agree with you that a simple search will bring up a lot of Lash lists that have been posted over time, but i dont really feel that your comment and accusations of "ego stroking" and "douchey list" were entirely necessary.

Sorry for the lengthy post. Not trying to make any enemies here. Just want to keep the thread on topic and prevent any flame wars that may emerge.

Oh im aware lash isnt effective, way to many vehicles. running around for the actual "lash" part to come into play often enough. I didnt mean for my post to sound angry, but every day there is another lash list posted, subtle variations or not, if you cant come up with your own deffinitive idea off of the hundreds within easy reading reach, then there isnt much we can do for you.

Well i am still happy to help anyone who posts a Lash list, or any CSM list for that matter.
And my advise is different in every thread, to keep with the units that the OP wishes to use.
Its usually just the small things such as unit size, special weapons, wargear, etc that need tweaking.
