You know sometimes army builder gives you TOOO much info.

So one of the ideas I like with this list is you can drop in and pop at least 1 tank and then force the enemy to run off the board.

The other is that you make a nice wall for your own guys to get cover saves and block other tanks movement. The Enemy will have to spend time either blowing up the drop pods or moving around to give you time to drop in more guys for the counter assault.


Just some ideas I had after the local guy took drop pod SW wo an undefeated 3rd rnd Ard Boyz.

Even though you've mentioned it, the list is still unreadable. Absolutely.

The question I want to ask (not sure it's a problem of the list, but I'm curious) - how would you react to enemy full reserving? With 4 pods arriving at round one no long range guns would be put one the table - and scoring units you may just drop on the objectives" would be small assault squads - OK, with good saves and FNP, but unable to support the battle somewhere else. Are you sure your SW friend didn't have DP tactical squads to cover this kind of situation?

Also:
1) Don't like the sarge without power weapon. Take one away from the priest.
2) DC with 2 thunder hammer will receive hellish amount of hits before they have a chance to swing.

I'd suggest changing the 2nd libby into a Libby'Naught. Put him in a pod by himself. Remember, Furioso's are A:13. I also don't like Death Company in a Pod. The Rage makes them easy to lead away from the battle. I would exchange the small Assault company and pod, the DC dread's pod, and the DC pod, as well as the spare SP, and buy a Storm Raven. This can deep strike (same effect as a pod if you don't choose DC as one of the initial poddings) as well as a lot of firepower, some survivability, and it can deliver the Raging ones WHERE you want, instead of the semi-random pod. And you can still jump out of it if you're worried about where your placing it. Even Turbo from Reserve can work. I'd say with this army you're losing out by putting Death Company in anything else.
