Me and Karma will be reforming the 'Pogonologists' taking our Tau/Tau alliance.
Lost the last game table 1 against the German guys last year, managing to get some of our Kroot pinned TWICE In a row enabling their Harlies to rip through our main lines!

Good luck everybody who's off to this.

Yep its 2:45 in the AM the night before. Just finished a Landspeeder, basing and decaling some dreads and printing off army lists.

Time for bed.

Yarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrp.

Managed to wangle into 6th, mainly due to my partners ridiculous ability to roll sixes. Played 9 marine armies out of 12 lol, compared to the zero i always play at GTs lol.

Was an amazingly funny weekend and really enjoyable. Just more games next year please!

Me and Gus managed to go unbeaten (5W 1D) and claim second place. Played majority of games against TauDar (as expected):

Game 1: Tau/Eldar: Double Prism, Crisis Spam Massacre
Game 2: Nids/Nids: 5 MC's, Warriors, rippers Draw (Crisis shooting was complete crap)
Game 3: Chaos/Dark Eldar Wych Spam, Termies, Raptors Massacre
Game 4: Eldar/Tau: Double Wraithlord Crisis Spam Massacre
Game 5: Tau/Tau: Twin Ionheads, Crisis, Kroot Spam Win
Game 6: Eldar/Eldar: Eldrad, Twin uber Falcons, Twin Dragons Win

Overall good weekend, highly recommended but could do with a few more games.

We came 32nd. 3 wins, 2 draws and a loss. Felt that at least one of the draws should have gone our way but there we go. It was still an impressive showing for a list made on friday night while drunk!

So another Doubles over and an another awesome tourney comes to a close.

Team Assdolphins (Fallen Angel and myself) came a very respectful 6th with our brutal 5 TMC force.

Want to say a big thankyou to everyone who played us and all those i managed to meet up and talk to in the bar.

I was going to write a lengthy report but tbh i hav a ton of pics so instead for a change no Batrep, just pretty (ok sometimes not pretty) pics.

Enjoy

mmmmm essential energy to get you going:

My "most excellent" team partner (Fallen Angel)

And our even more "most excellent" army (brrrraaaaapppp! Yo!)

Breakfast of Champions

Game 1: Devourer's take aim at some poor scouts (yes thats 40 twin-linked & re-roll to wounds shots!)

So this is the objective.... and that is a Chaplain been assaulted by 3 TMC's and a bunch of Warriors. while he bravley defends it.

More pics....

Game 2: Yep thats more marines in a castle awaiting massed Devourer death (gus would have been proud of this castle).

Lining up to fire into the castle

One shooting phase later and half their army is dead! Ouch!

Game 3: Look how happy Gary (castigator) and Mike (what is your user name dude???) are for drawing us (let the drinking commence).

Our army vs thier INVINCABLE speeders and exorcists (all those little pink dice are showing our beaties have 1 or 2 wounds left).

Day 2 (much drink and a VERY early night for Neil later) and our 4th Game.... more MARINES! Better yet more Marines in a nice castle (again gus will be proud).

..... so we move up to a nice big piece of terrain infront of thier castle and you can all probably guess what happened in the shooting phase..... BRRRAAAAAPPPPP!

Game 5: Colin and Andy's TMC nids. This game was brutal, bloody and close fought i only managed to get this pic (actually i lie i took this pic after the game)

Game 6: This was our view of the top 6 tables. Lets play spot the Flame On teams (and yes if you didn't work it out they are all there).

Same view, different angle.

Owen and Jonathan looking "really" happy to be facing me for the 3rd doubles tourney in a row (they lost the previous 2 btw). Sorry again forgot to take any more pics as this game was even closer and more brutal than the 5th one.
All i can say is go Deathwatch! (damn you......)

LOOK EVERYONE GUS IS SMILING!!!! (well done again guys)

And finally the very victorious Derek with his mighty Auspex. (again well done sir!)

Finally here's a load of pics of the Best Army Nominee's:

The Bingo Wings TMC's:

Army 2: White Marines (nicely done white) and Cadian/Red Berry Commando's.

Army 3: Old Skool Marine and some evil looking Guard (they had Chaos Warrior helms like my scouts).

Army 4: Nic and Andy Taylor's Traitor Guard and CSM's

Army 5: Owen and Jonathan's Deathwatch and Dark Angels (we voted for this army)

Army 6 & the overall winners: Slaanesh and Khorne MC heavy CSM's (aka how much scratchbuilding?)

Gonna guess by your Sig your either Miles or his mate (Andy? Sorry can't remember your name) and there for the Nids. Though i'm basing that purley on assuming you come from Hull like they do.
