I have an Aopc battle on Saturday, and I need to know if I can put my Mek into a Mek Stompa (lol), but I want them to have a cover save, so as long as one Stompa's in 12" of the other (holding the Mek) it'll work, right?

Or... did I misread that Stompas can only transport Boyz?

As far as I know the KFF will work when inside a vehicle, but i am not sure how you measure the 6 inch radius, I ussualy do that from the vehicles hull.

And Stompa's have a carrying capacity of 20 so you can stuff whatever you like in them ( 2 Deff dreads, Ghazkull and some meganobz, heck even 2 carnifexes would be legal )

When using a Kustom Force Field from within a stompa it would be mesured from the hull

A Big Mek in a stompa has become notorious for our Apocalypse games at the local club. It simply refuses to die, and is a constant nuisance. It will usually take the firepower of over 10k points of Imperial Guard, and some other guys that help out - and still manage to stay alive for the duration of the game.

Toten (user here on Heresy) is a God when it comes to cover-saving his Stompa.

Thanks! I considered the Dread Mob for a long while, but you're not allowed Mek Stompas in the formation, so that's a definite no for me.

No he cannot. He can only fix weapon destroyed and immobilised results. Super Heavies use different damage results to normal vehicles.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS include a KFF with your stompa. Increases the things survivability 10fold!
