Hehe, that's awesome. Really. I don't have much to compare it with, but you have a pretty solid contestant there.

But I wonder... How did you make the tree, the snow man and so on? Allways nice to hear how conversions are done.

:grin:Merry Christmas all
Thanks, you too! :eek:k:

and God Bless!:victory:

The tree comes from the little Christmas villages they sell at this time of the year. Wait a few more days and they will be 50% off at most stores. The snowman, hat, snowballs, etc... is all GW green stuff.

As for the God Bless...,

I can do without that.

Well, certain people would disagree, but this forum is no place for discussing so.

I always thought the planet's axial tilt was the reason for all seasons. ;-)

Regardless, that's a fantastic job man. Pure brilliance.

Haha very cool, I'm digging it. I'd have been too tempted to do something vaguely creepy just for laughs, like have a Lord of Slaanesh with a really tacky fake beard and santa hat sitting on the multi-purpose holiday throne that they have in the mall, and have a couple of daemonette "elves"... I'll let you read into that as much as you like. haha...

I think the only thing I'd have done differently would've been to have the marine next to the snowman have his helmet off, so you can see the seriously pissed expression. And maybe used a multi-melta, just for the sake of having the heat-based weapon.

I think it works fine, because SM helmets generally look seriously pissed off as it is.

And Lasers *are* heat-based...a multi-melta would have just turned it to a puddle.

Santa's little helpers? lol!

My god, man. If that come in second, first must've been Jervis Johnson himself!

how long did it take you to complete?
haha~go the lascannon
Wolf: About 2 weeks..., The conversion didn't take long, but I am a really slow painter.

Dirge Eterna: The guy who came in first had a Santa's sleigh made from a Rhino Transport with an ogre for a Santa pulled by 9 Hell Hounds and the lead hound's nose actually lit up! He did a great job and deserved to win.
