I'm thinking of doing some blood axe orks with desert camo but I'm not sure how you go about painting camo. Do I started with a brown base then do little shapes of lighter toned browns/yellows or is there a better way to paint camo?

A quick image search pulled up many different kinds of desert camo patterns so it really depends on what you want. Most seem to be a brown base with other colors built off that of darker browns, olive tones, yellows, black as well as white dots added in. It is up to you what colors you add. Also it is orks so the pattern doesn't have to be perfect you could do tribal designs as the camo and it would work for orks because they are the best.
