I am not certain if the champions in your spearmen and crossbowmen are worth the points. I can see the benefit if you want to protect a sorceress from challenges, but feel extra numbers are better than a champion in the other units.

There is not a huge amount.Good point, but I'm not sure where I could spend 12 points.
Maybe boost the size of whichever unit the Sorceress is going in so she is (infinitesimally) less likely to die due to the unit breaking/being wiped out around her.
