Well got the prerelease new chaos battle box comes with a defiler, and well seems to be missing a piece, checked the sprews before i left england everything was there, buuuuut i cant find anywhere in the sprews is the piece im looking for, for those that know defilers it would be the plate on the bottom of the head that connects to the axle/neck thing that attaches to the body, anyone help me out on a bits site that may have it? i got some spiffy extra vehicle piece sprew and wondering if i got the wrong one and thats where the problem is, but anyways so i dont have a headless defiler i need help!

well, if nothing else, the pre-release box comes with an apocalypse sprue that has a new defiler head on it.

you could look there, as it should have the face plate and the piece it connects to.

the war store now owns the battlewagon bits thing and they actually sell parts for the defiler..... I did not see what you described, but you could call them

Time to call up GW direct! If they shorted you a sprue, or there's a component missing from a sprue (sometimes they do break off during packaging) you can call them and they'll replace it. And they'll pay shipping, so long as you aren't regularly calling them up (since that starts to look a wee bit suspicious.)

I called up GW for an Empire War Machine that was missing its wheels. They promptly mailed them to me with virtually 'no questions asked'. I was really impressed, especially as I had purchased the OOP model from an Indy Retailer.

Just give them a call.

I know the piece you're looking for, and for the life of me I can't understand how you missed it? It's on the sprue with the rest of the Defiler torso pieces and there would have been an obvious hole in the sprue when you pulled it out of the box if it was missing? Are you sure you just haven't lost it in the sofa cushions or something? :wink:

Yeah, I got the Orc Warboss for WFB and it was missing a torso, they mailed out a whole new boxed set.

Well went to my local GW shop asked my friend there and he gave me the sprew piece no questions, and what im thinking may have happened, is well my bag ended up going through customs on the way back from england and the box inside the bag was kinda manhandled on the way there and through customs so wondering if that piece came loose and maybe fell out when customs ppl were checking it? because it wasnt the only loose piece, there was another on the bottom of the box
