These are some Work In Progress shots of Deff Wraith II, which I've tried to make it a bit more Orky than the original Deff Wraith. I've left part of the back off as it will be easier to paint up seperate and then add on afterward. Anyway I'm wondering what paint scheme to go with, as I feel the paint scheme for Deff Wraith II should reflect the greater amount of Orkiness reflected in the model than in the original Deff Wraith, so any suggestions are welcome.

I'd thought about that, but when I was making it last night, adding to much to the legs seemed to detract from the arms, so I left them alone apart from a few adornments here and there. With every Deff Wraith I make, I'm trying out new ideas so maybe next time they'll be some changes to the legs, but for now I wanted to concentrate on the body and arms.

Looks good to me, but is there a pilot in there somewhere? I assume there's a grot for the job?
Well it's meant to be a Deff Dredd, so it would be an Ork piloting it, but the fluff I've developed is that my Warboss/Big Mek/Ork in Charge had one of his weirdboys stick the enslaved soul of a former rival in each of the Deff Wraiths (this is the second, and I might make a third depending on the avaliability of certain parts).

It does look like the legs will snap, but the upper body is it quite ineteresting and orky. I think it would have looked even better if you had posed the whole thing as if it was moving.

Lokking forward to seeing the next one.
