Decision Problems

623 Views 8 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  obsidian492
I can never stick with an army choice. I started with Imperial Guard, then decided I didn't like the amount of troops. I toyed with the idea of a Blood Angels army, but didn't want to be a marine player. Basically, I can't choose an army and stick with the decision. Any advice?

sread the codexes watch people play and decide ask staff also
Try going for which model line looks the coolest, it will be easier to build them and stick with it. If there is two lines go to which one would be more fun to play. Good Luck its just the nature of the beast.
my friend is the same there really isn't a 'cure' fo rhti sproblem just self control .
If your can't decide what to go with out of the Imperial armies go for the =I=, they can access most of the other Codexs so you bascially buy what units you like and then use them (its not quite as simple as that but thats the gist of it)
Oh, it's not just a problem of Imperial armies - i've had thoughts about eldar, necrons, and tau too! It's like i have a severe case of Magpie Eyes. I see a new release, and think I should collect an army based around the single unit... but by the time I get the codex, it loses its appeal.
First you have to figure out why it loses it's appeal. For example sometimes people read things online and it discourages them.

Best bet is to decide which armies you like the most and rate them. Then start with your #1 choice. When you have a decent sized force of that then start on your #2 choice.

I have 5 armies, and enough units to change them around at will. No rule says you have to stick to a single army.

You could always try chaos there's a lot of variety and if you want to base your army around a character choose a God.
Thanks for the advice guys. I think I may make a list of my favorite armies, and why I like them.
