Couldn't find a deathwatch thread so I thought I'd pop this here, please boot me to the right place if this is a mispost.
This list is more about theming than tabletop victory, although I'd like it to still pack a punch. I haven't purchased a single model for it yet so feel free to point out where I'm being dumb or cheesy...

Deathwatch Black Spear Strike Force (primary detachment)

Watch Captain - artificer armour, grav pistol, xenophase blade

Aquila kill team - vanguard vet with lightning claws, five vets with two shotguns, infernus heavy bolter and two bolters, drop pod

Purgatus kill team - librarian, terminator with TH/SS, three vets with bolters, one with frag cannon, one with stalker boltgun, drop pod

Corvus blackstar - halo launcher, blackstar rocket launcher

Astra Militarum Allied Detachment

Company command squad - lascannon, vox caster

Veteran squad - lascannon, vox caster

Veteran squad - lascannon, vox caster

Inquisitorial Detachment

Ordo xenos inquisitor - power armour, power sword, three servo skulls

Inquisitorial warband - crusader, two acolytes with bolters, three acolytes with plasma guns, priest, four psykers

That leaves me 84 points short of 1850, I'd really like to fit in an aegis defence line or maybe a leman russ. Another option is a few special weapons for the deathwatch.

So game wise it's fairly simple, the guard detachment will deploy to hold down the home field objectives/lay down fire. Three BS4 lascannons from the vets will target tanks/TEQ though I'm not sure if the vox casters are worth it, I doubt they'll really be getting a lot out of the CCS orders.
The warbands get a similar role but may push forwards a bit more with crusaders and acolytes with bolters at the front to tank wounds, priest to stop them running, three plasma guns for ap2 goodness and four psykers makes their psychic barrage S6 AP3 large blast. The inquisitor himself will take divination for the primaris power to hopefully stop his acolytes burning themselves too much.
Finally the deathwatch detachment get the hard job, podding in to take out the enemy's toughest units with the purgatus kill teams while the Aquila team deal with blobs/cover campers using their ignores cover ammo and shotguns. The captain gets to try and pick off enemy characters, though anyone tooled up for proper CC will make short work of him (I generate a total of eleven warp charges so I should be able to help him out a bit there) I fully envision this entire detachment dying a heroic and glorious death but I'm hoping they do enough damage and distraction to let the rest of the force get the job done.
As I said it's more about the theme, I think this army has a reasonable chance to do some damage but please feel free to tear it apart. Oh and obviously the theme is the ordo xenos inquisitor has called up his mates to help him out, however I'd rather have the watch captain as the warlord because I prefer their warlord traits :)
Any advice would be grand.
