Trying to get back in to Warhammer 40k and i have taken to eldar. Looking to build a list that will be fun but, above all, that will win too. I see alot of ppl using "Death Star" the farseer/warlock on jet bike. Kinda looking for the pros and cons on that, and well if its really worth going through all that trouble to do. The whole doing to the conversion, because GW does not make a model for them?????? I like the idea of doing that bladestorm+farseer looks like a nice combo too anyways anyone give me some words on this matter. If i don't do the Jetseer i guess i do a mech army. Thanks in advance.

Well the Jetlock conversion isnt the hardest you could do. For mine i just used a box of shining spears and some greenstuff to make the warlock collar. And some left over power swords I had.

Basically the reason for taking a jet council is its got a rerollable 3+4++ save so its not going anywhere fast. Also its good for taking down MCs and armour and some infantry with mass destructors.

The problem these days is people have caught onto the fact that some "good" lists use psychic powers and so use just under 20 points of theiir list or something to hinder them greatly. With all the psychic hoods and Runes about your farseer will have trouble getting fortune up. And without it then they become a very expensive squad of jetbikes.
