Ok guys here is what Dark Messiah and Heph have come up with (Thank you to both of them for their hard work - its fanatastic that they have done this for us)

As more mini's are made I'll post them in here. About halfway through next month I'll put a poll on so we can begin to cut them down. Anyway here they are:

My favourite so far is probably old one eye at the top.

But I'd be happy with any of the color schemes with the black and white arm. Its just looks so cool!!

Hi guys, quick question. How far are we on deciding on a scheme, as I still need another csm squad for me IW. So once I get to those in 2-3 weeks I could go for a full Dark Talons squad for fun and to get a true feel of them on a larger scale :wink:

A deadline wouldn't be a bad thing really. Say Halloween for having a color scheme decided. Say Christmas for having the fluff and all nailed down.

Most folks will sit on their hands without a definite date to have things done by.

Pretty good idea, a gentle push in the back is never a bad idea.

As I'm reworking/rebuilding my Iron Warriors I'll need another new unit of csm and I figured it might be an ideal opportunity to make them Dark Talons. Would add great favour to my own army and would also give us a humble taste of how a full army may end up looking.....actually very tempted to go with the turqouise at the moment.

just on the colour scheme note, the red one looks cool, but could be linked to the red corsairs. im not sure if this is a good or bad thing, just wanted to point it out. and also i prefer the blue with white one-eye, looks real good

Me too, me too.....hate to give myself a pad on the pack, but that one turned out very good. I also really like the yellow/purple, not for the dark talons, but just as an unusual scheme.

I'm definately feeling the white arms. They look awesome.

Blue or Red, either way the white gauntlet is uber cool and original.

Halloween is already past, so...... I'd still like to contribute to this. I have no chaos minis at the mo cause I'm not a heretic (Sorry all you chaos players out there) but I'll post some schemes on my normal marines if thats okay. Gimme about a week to get those done.

Is there any certain colours we should be sticking to? Just so I don't put say green and it's not wanted in this colour scheme.

Not really any no go colors except maybe pink or purple. Try and make sure it doesn't look too god specific as well - other than that its open slather.
