Ok, just had a normal game at one of my LGSs against Tau. It was 1k(well we both agreed to 1100 points), Gamma Cleanse, the fastest TA i've ever done. I raped his army in 2 turns. His army had 1 hammerhead, 1 squadron of 3 piranhas, 2 fire warrior squads, 1 Broadside battle suit thingie with drones and 1 commander with bodyguard and drones. My army had a S6 Archon, 2 Wych squads in raiders, 2 Warrior squads with Blasters and Splinter Cannons, 2 Ravagers with 3 Disintegrators. He gave me first turn. The terrain was sweet with a cliff range in the center.
Turn 1 saw my raiders flying over the cliff and disembarking 1 wych squad and the other disembarking the archon. The ravagers got onto the cliffs only moving 6" to get good vantage points. The warriors just walked. Shooting, saw my wychs fleeting closer to a fire warrior squad while my archon fleeted closer to the commander. One ravager took out the piranha squadron in one volley, the other only took out 1 drone from the Broadside. The empty raider scored a lucky hit on the hammerhead and blew it up with a pen 6. The other raider pinned(horrorfex) the firewarrior squad that was not going to be charged. Assault, i charged my wychs into the fire warrior squad, and my Archon used 12"charge to charge at the commander and his bodyguard. The Tau foolishly stayed in combat.
Tau turn 1 all he could do was shoot with the Broadside which blew up one Ravager, assault saw my archon break his shield but finish off the commander and his bodyguard, my wychs finished off the fire warriors and took 3 slaves.
DE turn 2, i gunned down his remaining fire warrior squad and my Archon finished off the Broadside.
Although, i have to say that it was a bully match, he didn't really know(despite me telling him everything my army had) what to expect and giving me first turn just meant i had the initiative through the whole game and never lost it.
I loved the fact that he was actually quite shocked by the sheer speed of the army, i had forewarned him about the 12"charge, but there wasn't much he could do to stop it. I truly felt like a Dark Eldar, of course i was very friendly explaining everything and thanking him for the game. I love DE
