This is my 1500pt DA list. Should anything be changed? Leave any comments to help. Much appreciated.

The plan is to have Belial, Chap., and cc Terms in LRC. The ranged Terms foot slog ot across for support and the tac squad is split in half w/the lascannon starting on board and the sargeant/flamer half in rhino for obj.

Sorry to burst your bubble... but if I'm not mistaken, the LRC's in the DA codex can only hold 12 models and in that case, you can't have Belial AND the Chap in term armor in the LRC as that makes it a total of '14' since termies count as 2. If I'm mistaken, then great, but I'm pretty sure max is 12.

Secondly, the rest seems to be in decent order... except that lone lascannon and the multi-melta on the LRC is really your only heavy armor guns. Maybe a melta instead of a flamer on the tact squad just to provide another gun that can take down armor.

Thats my 2 cents at least.

No, LRC's can hold sixteen models indeed!:biggrin: And about switching the flamer out for the melta, I will do that. The flamer was put in there as a filler.

Just looking at it... that single powerfist / storm bolter in the assualt term squad seems out of place. 2 shots before you assualt wont do much, and if you want to keep the fist for the double str. : take the TH/SS as the SS can help a little bit better with saves and the Hammer not only doubles STR but also causes some additional benifits if it inflicts a wound with the striking back at In 1 and automatically causes a stun/shaken result to armor. Just a thought.

Belial's an awesome choice, though I'm a fan of the storm bolter and power sword combo. It's mostly because Dark Angel armies need everything they can get in the way of ranged firepower since a lot of their choices are pretty expensive. Since you're going to be piling into a Crusader though, the claws are good.

As far as the Chaplain goes, I wouldn't bother spending points on Terminator armor. It actually makes him have less Attacks and he doesn't really need to fear normal wounds much, more ones that ignore armor (meaning the Terminator armor won't help him any).

Nice, though I'd swap out the guy with the fist and storm bolter for someone with a hammer and storm shield since the unit will be in combat most of the time. I don't think the standard is required though.

I wouldn't bother with a flamer. They have no range and it doesn't appear that this unit has a transport, so the chances of getting into range to hit anyone are slim. A plasma gun would probably be a better choice for a unit that plans to hang back.

2 Predators w/Autocannon & HBs. 190 pts

Cool beans, though you're likely going to feel a distinct lack of anti-tank firepower in this list. You can bust transports, but anything AV13 or higher will be a bit of a challenge.

LRC 250 pts

No brainer!

It looks decent, but the LRC is a massive rock unit that your army pretty much hinges on. You need support to keep it from getting wrecked or blocked up.

Dakka Preds are excellent for this role, as are Rhinos, Dreads and Speeders. The 2nd unit of Termies doesn't really fit considering everything else is mechanized so I'd drop them for good support like MM/HF or TLAC/ML Dreads, MM/HF Speeders, or go the hybrid route and take CML DW squads to support your advance at range.

@ Katie Drake. The standard bearer add +1 atk to everyone in the unit. If the get the charge and I should be able to, then that is 41 atks that can re-roll missed hits and 30 that can re-roll to wound. If the Standard Bearer was not there then it would be 34 atks total.

Also, should I get rid of the foot DW, for more cc DW and LRC and the Predators fot Dakka Dreads/speeders? It's kinda tough to come up with a good list when units are pricey.

I'm well aware of what the Standard does. You just really don't need that many attacks with rerolls to hit and to wound that ignore armor.

Just leave him. He's fine as is and quite reasonably priced for what you get.

I personally don't think so. Chumby and I have different views on this and that's okay. Just go with what feels right, playtest it and then tweak until you find a mix you're happy with.
