Im thinking about starting a Chaos Daemons army for fun but after reading many threads dotted around I don't know what to make of them.

I was thinking about doing a Nurgle/Khorne army for survivability and hard hitting but I'm stumped by the many 'flaws' in the codex:
For instance: Bloodletters- STR5 power weapons!:shok: scoring!:shok: deepstrike!:shok: infantry:headbutt:.

I mean what's the point of a squad of cc specialists that has no way to the front line beyond deepstriking and has the survivability of a plucked turkey? Having power weapons just makes them more of a target.

Don't get me wrong, I still want to do daemons, I'm just asking if the army works and good units to base a Nurgle/Khorne army around.

Also, while I'm at it, if you could change one thing about the codex, what would it be? The way that they deploy? The speed of some units?

So basically what would you do to make daemons better? I personally like the all DS deployment as the enemy doesn't know where you will arrive and if you go second you deny your opponant a turns shooting. I would give all daemons fleet (with slaaneshi daemons rolling 2 dice and selecting the higher).

(Just please don't forget the original question and help a guy out:eek:k:)
