Hey so I am doing my daemon prince and I need some help.

Ok in his left hand"I think I forget which one is further back" he is holding a dead empire soldier. So the main question is should the solider be putting his hands up grabbing hold of the daemons hand "making it look like he is still being killed". Or should he just be hanging there dead as a doornail.

Also armour "yay or nay" He is after all a werewolf so he is going to be furry but does he need armour or would it be overkill?

I agree, leave the soldier alive so it looks like it's mid battle.

As for armour, if it's a werewolf, IMO don't give it a lot of armour, but maybe like a single shoulder pad or a small amount of chest armour just so he doesn't look so plain.

like @Insanity proposal. Let the soldier be "alive" and put some armour plates here and there to 40k-ify the beast

So now that I got the info I need on the pose I started up some work on him last night here is a quick wip

Any cc would be loved and ya thanks for the view. p.s. thanks for the info guys :)

So he will be standing on a little hill and hard to tell from the pics but will be dragging the soldier along the ground who is going to be trying to free his head from being squished by the daemons hand. Both the soldiers hands will be grabbing onto the daemons hand. Not the most dynamic pose just walking along. But I want him to look like he is in no hurry and just taking his time killing arrogant only an immortal can have.

Thanks for the comments guys here is a update still far from done but it is taking shape I think..... I nose got pushed in a little because he got bumped :p He will need to see a rhynoplasty doc tomorrow.

Just started to add fur and clay was getting to warm and I had to take a break more fur on his back/head to come soon and more detail all over.

cc needed and loved.

haha not suppose to be scray yet. Before I put any real detail on it I need to mm get the whole thing kinda whats the word like built but with out any real detail. That way when I add detail to the face/body I won't smooth it by mistake trying to add more clay. They key point you think he looks like a dog/wolf :D. I am thinking once I add a snarl/teeth/scars will help him look less scary. But hell maybe is will end up being slaanesh "pet the puppy! pop hand comes off lol"

And why choose a werewolf for a daemon prince? Because dogs are gods  also I am building a whole werewolf army using warriors of chaos as a base.

Right now it looks more like a mean-ass mouse than a wolf. I think you need to make the jaw more prominent?

I like the idea of the still-alive guardsmen in its grip, remember to put a set of parallel bloody claw cuts in its side as well. :)
