I have been thinking of playing a army with lower model counts than my previous lists and a daemon flying circus list is one thing that came to mind so here's the experimental list. Please feel free to comment criticize or give ideas. here is the modified list sorry but belakor did not quite fit in and hes just not my favorite.

HQ

fateweaver 300

daemon prince - nurgle - wings - armor - level 3 - exalted - lesser (plague flail) - (biomancy) 335

TROOPS

16 pink horrors 144

12 pink horrors 108

12 pink horrors 108

HEAVY SUPPORT

daemon prince - tzeentch - wings - armor - greater - lesser (staff of change) - level 3 (malefic) 335

daemon prince - tzeentch - wings - armor - greater - lesser (staff of change) - level 3 (malefic) 335

daemon prince - tzeentch - wings - armor - greater - lesser (staff of change) - level 3 (malefic) 335

2000

The game plan is pretty simple rush forwards 5 flying monstrous creatures and summon some blood letters in the back field while letting the pink horrors grab the points and give me warp charges. I'm hopping to roll 2 or 3 cursed earths on demonology to set up that web and give someone the grimoir of true names (most likely the lord of change) making it very hard to kill the princes while on the ground and nearly impossible in the air.

The final warp charge points of the new list is 23 and the old list only had 22. some shifting of points can yield great results.

Are there any weaknesses that i can cover up in the list and who should be my warlord.

Hmm. I would be tempted to run something with 2 Combined Arms Detachments (dual force org, you know), to bring Lords of Change instead of Daemon Princes where possible. You can cover 4 Troops choices with blocks of 11 Horrors, probably, I think. Or even Nurglings, if you want dirt cheap, essentially Fearless Objective Secured scoring units with Shrouded. Yay for 7e letting swarms score!

I'm also very inclined towards bringing Fateweaver for those vital rerolls and Warp Storm rerolls, if possible, and/or bringing Be'lakor to cast Shrouding so that any of those Tzeentchi DPs within 6" of him can Jink for a rerollable 2+ cover save. I mean, the Nurgle DP's 2+ cover save is all well and nice... but I'd rather have a dude who has a native 2+ and also gives out rerollable 2+es like candy.

Fateweaver+Be'lakor, add in a Grimoire on one of the other Tzeentchi FMCs. A bubble of fast, brutal, almost untouchable killers (one of which Invisible thanks to Be'lakor, probably a Cursed Earth on there...)

...awesome.

interesting i never thought of belakor but definitely a great idea i will make another variation see how that would fit in. thanks for the input. i could switch out the nurgle prince for belakor and the lord of change for fate weaver with some extra points from taking out some horrors.

Glad to have been of service! If you drop another 3 Horrors, you could also stick an Exalted Reward for a new Grimoire onto that DP with only a Lesser. Might have to go for a squad of 16 Horrors and 2 squads of 11 Horrors--same Warp Charge as the other list you put up.

When you say "to set up that web," is that to imply that you play with Cursed Earth stacking its effects? My local FLGSes ruled that Cursed Earth doesn't stack because you can only gain the benefit of any Blessing once, according to the rulebook, but if your local gaming group lets multiple Cursed Earths build on each other... great! Al the more reason to bring Fatey and Be'la, the two daemons in the game with a native 4++ invuln!

i always assumed that cursed earth stacked just because of how its worded in the rules and people have used that against me. i made a list to fit in be'lakor and fate weaver and its basically those 2 then 3 heavy tzeentch princes with armor wings a greater and a lesser then 2 units of 11 horrors and one of 16. that also means that i have to buy less horrors so less money spent. :)

The "this is cumulative with other modifier's to the Daemon's save" sentence my local FLGS has always taken to mean things like Grimoire, warp storm + or -, Banishment, Mark of Tzeentch... that sentence doesn't specifically allow you to ignore the sentence on page 26 about Blessings:

"The benefit of any one particular blessing can only be gained once per unit per turn, but benefits from different blessings are cumulative."

I mean, you could also argue that "one particular" and "different" refer to the powers being cast at all, so somebody can't benefit from the same Cursed Earth twice, but can from different Cursed Earths... but then there would be absolutely no reason to have included that sentence, so I think "one particular" refers to that power as a whole, no matter who's casting it.

..and like I said, I would be happy to overlap them, just my local FLGSes don't allow it.
