So just a quick 1

Using daemons as allies for my CSMs
Do I use the warp storm during shooting still I can't see any reason not too
Just wanna make sure

iirc they should be the primary detachment to still roll on the table??

You only use Warp Storm if they are your primary detachment. If they are allies, the warp storm is not in effect

Correct. If you want to keep the Warp Storm effects, you have to take CSM as Allied Detachment to a Daemon Primary CAD.

Note that it's possible to make up a strong CSM detachment (Daemon Prince + 2 CSM squads in Rhinos + Terminators in Landraider + Bikes or Helldrake + Havocs, for instance) with a minimal Daemon CAD, allowing almost the same army list with the Warp Storm table
