Ok. So. I just found out about how D-Cannons work. I know that the fortunate ones are torn to pieces. But if not, the target is sucked completely into warp space.

WHAT HAPPENS IN WARP SPACE? Basically, do the events of Event Horizon happen to them?

If so, dear sweet god. That weapon is awful. Terrifying. The worst thing to do to a living being with conscious thought. >_<

The fact that Eldar, the race most knowledgeable of the Warp, would use something like a D cannon. I know it's a weapon designed to kill their enemies, but I'd have thought that with their history, necessitating the use of soul stones, they would be repulsed at the deepest level by the idea of something that casts souls into the warp.

Or I could be reading far too deeply into it.:dunno:

Kind of a redundant weapon. Anything that dies gets sucked into the warp anyways.

Unless the weapon was designed to use against other Eldar/Dark Eldar that use Haemonculi.

Look at their hemlock wraithfighters, they consider it the blackest of necromancy to use them. Yet more autarchs have started to use them, despite the misigivings. The results is just too potent.
