An amazing build.

Apart from it being on a round base, it looks pure Fantasy to me. I have always seen Chaos Space Marine Daemon Princes as retaining more Marine characteristics, e.g. bulky armour, pipes.
It seems to be a greater daemon, not a prince. But yes, he does look fantasy.

You are right; I must be so indoctrinated with "CSM Daemon Prince good! Summoned Greater Daemon bad!" that I misread it as Daemon prince
don't worry, it happens.

Ha! Yeah, I didn't do anything to make him into a techno-daemon, but I think he works as a sort of fantasy element in the force.

Pretty much all of your summoned daemons are going to have that same trouble, so I think he fits.

Wow, that's great! Although I do agree that it looks slightly more fantasy. Still a fantastic model though!

As far as I understand it, scratchbuild means that you have sculpted the entire model yourself i.e. without any bought parts. Ergo, your model is not scratchbuilt. None the less that is a great model with a brilliant paint scheme although personally I think it looks more like a Skaven rat Ogre than a CSM Daemon Prince.

Well, in that case I think I'd go ahead and say "original sculpt" like I do for any of the minis that I sculpt.

But I see your point. Next time I do something like this, I'll denote him as a conversion instead. No need to be confusing.
