So this was a small project that began with the Dawn of War 2 army painter and has become an almost obsession:

Craftworld Dyann Orthos Background:

744.M41 - Craftworld Dyann-Orthos was once a massive Eldar presence in the Eastern fringe and came into regular conflict with the Ultramarines chapter. However, with the invasion of hive fleet Behemoth the craftworld was almost annihalated. Like a mighty rock amid a sea of infestation, Dyann-Orthos stood against the tyranid onslaught in a desperate bid to survive. Days before the invasion, a small force consisting of thirty guardians and the respected Farseer: Iranna Ibraseal left under orders of the Craftworld elder. The craftworld faught valiently, refusing to back down as wave after wave of blood-lusted tyranid spewed into the corridors and gardens of the ship. Their stubborn resistence was not for naught, the battle had cost the hive fleet deerly, it is even speculated that without the utter destruction of the craftworld then Macragge would have fallen foul of hive fleet Behemoth.

746.M41 - Iranna led her force to one of the most far north-eastern planets in the galaxy and landed, colonizing the planet and naming it "Dyann-Orthos" in honour of their fallen brethren. Slowly but surely, they began to re-build their shattered populace.

857.M41 - 111 years later, the once fledgling colony has become a nigh-impregnable stronghold, the Eldar are prosporous once more. Farseer Iranna is said to be one of, if not the most powerful Psykers in the entire galaxy, her unnaturally long life has given her hundreds upon hundreds of years to master the path of the seer. Iranna's longevity is unexplained, even by herself. She says that she has one last task to accomplish before leaving her people, what that may be is unknown.


Craftworld Dyann-Orthos Basic information:

name: Dyann-Orthos
meaning: Guardians of Myth.
main colours: deep blue, bone.
favoured unit: Guardians.
speaciality: Hit & Run
reputation: unknown to most of the imperium and even some other Craftworlds.
main enemy: Tyranids.

Special Character and Rules:

Farseer Iranna Ibrseal:

Psychic powers:
Doom, Guide, Fortune, Mind War and Eldrich Storm.

Wargear:
Spear of Dyann-Orthos, Rune Armour (3+ invulnerable save), Runes of Warding, Runes of Witnessing, Spirit Stones, Ghosthelm and Shuriken pistol.

Special Rules:
Independent character, psychic Mastery, fleet of foot and Warpquake.

Spear of Dyann-Orthos: This mighty spear was gifted to Iranna by the long forgotten Elder of her craftworld. Iranna may re-roll all failed To Hit and To Wound rolls in close combat.

Psychic Mastery: Iranna has had hundreds of years to perfect the path of the seer and as such is an unrivlled psyker. Iranna may use up to 3 psychic powers a turn amd also automatically passes any psychic tests she is required to make except on a roll of a double six or double one.

Warpquake: Iranna's psychic powers are so powerful they rip the ground asunder from beneath her and the Earth swallows her enemies whole. This shooting attack may be used only in the assualt phase and may be used if Iranna or the target(s) are in close combat. Put one wound on Iranna with no saves allowed and place the large blast template above her. Any models besides Iranna under the template automatically take a S8 hit that ignores armour saves. (Vehicles are hit on their rear armour.)

Right, where to start? :)

First off Ive Underlined, bolded and blued out the things that I think should be changed.
Fluff part, she apparantly left her craft world in 744.M41 then did nothing for almost a century, then in the next entry it states that 187.M41 THOUSAND years later, needs to change also I dont think Eldar can live that long, yes they are long lived but they are not immortal.

First rule part, Always passing all psychic test, this MUST change if you want a decent character, I could understand this if it was magnus or the Emperor, even if you just changed it so that you still do psychic tests but succeed on anything but a double 6 or 1.

Second rule part, If you ignore armour saves you dont need an AP, just a note.

Do you have an inclination as to what the points of Iranna should be?

*Also the Ap3 was for vehicles*

AP3 is not needed for vehicles, only AP1 effects them.

If you do the changes I suggested, then maybe 75 points more than a farseer with Runes, Stones ETC:

Okay well she's dropped 50pts. Is there any other advice you'd have? :)

I did just notice that she is toughness 4, make it 3 like all the other Eldar

I thought that all Eldar but the Pheonix Lords were T3
