As mentioned in my Cryx log, the bases will come later once I finish up a few more models. Then I will base them all at once in a swamp/marsh style.

Thanks guys. The green is P3 Gnarloc green and black mixed at 1:1, Catachan Green, Devlan mud wash, quick overbrush of Catachan again, Catachan/Rotting Flesh highlights and a Gryphonne Sepia wash. You can actually skip the mud wash and first catachan green layer but I find it helps to darken the overall tone down a bit more to my satisfaction. I am also thinking of trying a bit of purple wash like Moo suggested to shade the green cloth on future models.

locustgate: Yes they are metal models. I don't think the Cryx line has any of the plastics yet although I could be wrong. PP has only recently begun to add plastic models to their miniature lines.

Humakt: depends on the size of game you want to run as you can go from a 15pt duel all the way to a 1000pt Apoc style game (keep in mind that 1000pts is a MASSIVE game that will likely take all day at least). Tournament size armies are 35pts and are about 20 models or so. My 35pt Cryx army has 21 models in it.

The green glow is dark angels green, dark angel/scorpion green, scorpion green, scorpion/white in successive layers.
