Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has any ideas/suggestions for how The Pestilent Swarm could be converted to 40k? My friend discusses a few ideas in this video but we'd love to get some input from other 40k veterans.

well... assuming you mean this.

The blight drones, plague bearers, and nurglings are easy.

The "ogres" I would say would work great as beasts of nurgle (or whatever they are called)

the big thing...if you were planning on using it as is the only thing I think that it COULD be would be a soul grinder.

If converting is where you would be going, then whatever you want - I would suggest looking for the rules of nurgle ogryn, and some huge nurgle thingy.

Well if you remove the rider it could also be a cool Great Unclean One. The current model is quite bad, so this would be a welcome change and it would stay on theme.

Yeah, Great Unclean One was my first thought, too. My friend is also considering Daemon Prince though out of the two I think the Greater Daemon would be cooler.

Blight Kings, like they say, could be Termis (mostly melee unless you have spare combi-weapons and the like sitting around to replace them with, I suppose) or Beasts of Nurgle.

The Maggoth Lord I'd be inclined to remove the rider, myself, and use it as a GUO. Not a Daemon Prince, since I wouldn't be fielding one of those without wings, and a Soul Grinder strikes me as less likely since that's an unbased model, vs the based GUO or such. Still, it might be hard to fit the Maggoth Lord onto a 60mm base...
