Hello,
I know with 7th round the corner the "Tournament standard" may change with the new emphasis on a Psychic Phase (eg the current Freely cast buff and debuff powers being dispel-able) and the different Force Org and Alliance matrix but presumably Tournaments won't allow unbound armies and playing versus Unbound is meant to be something the players discuss prior (eg you won't surprised by 8 Riptides or something).
I finally decided on a basis for my Guard. It's nothing new, but it could have some fat trimmed to squeeze in some other stuff, I'm just not sure what and why.
A few notes, I chose Lascannons as they are the most expensive option, so it gives me an upper limit. Same with the Heavy Flamers. So if these get changed or removed I gain points rather than have to find points.

I feel the manticores give me both Anti-horde and Anti-armour, however the effectiveness is decided on a D3 roll a turn, not sure on that.
The left over points will be used to get in 2x Inquisitors with 3 Servo Skulls (119) and an Officer of the Fleet (20) due to not having enough points for an ADL with Comms relay unless I drop a Vendetta. Meaning I could take Coteaz, dropping one of the Inquisitors (55) and OotF (20) giving me 76 points spare, or 136 if I also drop the SWS due to no spare Vendetta.
This allied detachment is pending 7th Ed. Realistically I need 2 chances to cast Prescience but with Psyker changes this may be difficult.
