Now if youv'e read my other posts about this subject then you'll know that i think eldar have taken a hit where it comes to competative lists. though there are some dubious choices now in the codex that may make a powerful force when bearded up like Harlequins and swooping hawks i'm going to use this thread to throw in a few lists and see what you guys think. Could they compete in a competative environment? For starters as a uk player my lists have ukgt rules in mind so escalation in half the games and playing the missions from the rulebook. For each army please state army comps that it may suffer against, and suggestions to make i better vs said lists, things the list may need and things that maybe dont fit with the list

Troops:
3 jetbikes[shuriken cannon] + Warlock [embolden, singing spear]

Pray to all things holy you don't use that list against orks in a tourney, or a dedicated Khorne list. A single mid-size choppa mob would annihilate most of your army, sans the Fire Prisms. Other than that, it seems like a nice surgical attack list. You could probably drop a prism for a warwalker squad with mixed weaponry, preferably scatter lasers and starcannons to handle someone mobbing your small model amount.

Definitely a list that makes you really think where to move each turn, and also really scares high-priced enemy units from the dragons and ability,if the prisms are spread across the board, to hit any place with the joined beam from two of the three. But again, a dedicated close combat army might need to be kept at arms length as much as possible.

I don't see how a dedicated assault army would get to grips with me? I'd just stay at max range with the tanks and move around the board shooting them. there would be no need to disengage unless it was to take out isolated units

In escalation games you just might not get enough on the table to stop all infantry armies spreading out and digging in to cover.

Any army with a lot of infiltrators or anti-tank infantry is going to cause you headaches.
