okay I cannot figure out what color to paint my CSM's...

Paint choices:
GW Paints:
Dark Angels Green
Boltgun Metal
Shining Gold
Snake Bite Leather
Red Gore
Blood Red
Ice Blue
Ultra Marines Blue
Bronzed Flesh
Bad Moon Yellow
Chaos Black
Skull White
Bleached Blone
Tin Bitz
COdex Grey

Reaper Pro Paint:
True Silver

What color scheme would you guys recommend? I really can't find a combination that looks good to me. I've tried out a few and decided that Ice Blue and Red gore do not make a good combo. on a side note I had a squad of Superman schemed Chosen using Ultramarines blue and reg gore... THey looked like Crimsons fists so I dipped them in the green and removed all traces of that crap... I've been entertaining the idea of an All metallic scheme with Tin bitz, shining gold, and boltgun metal... but I don't want to look like a an Iron warriors rip off...

My fluff is a COmbination of BA and SW geneseed in attempt to remove the flaws... unfortunately they turned out really wrong... I guess space vampires and Space were wolves are meant to destroy each other... or worse create ABOMINATIONS(Really cool looking possessed)!!!!!!....

Anyway. all Ideas will be considered... and Test models will be painted up until I find the right color combo... please folks help me out... I don't want a codex legion color... I want to be Different!

This is a good help.

Like Loyalist Marines, halfed and quartered schemes are interesting, and not nearly done often enough. I think a possible quartered or halved scheme using Dark Angels Green, and Boltgun Metal with True Silver highlights. Not sure about the green highlights, maybe just mix Dark Angels Green with Skull White to get a lighter green.

Different one for you. Bleached bone armor panels with either silver or gold armor trim with boltgun on the armor joins. Then when you get to your posessed you can use bright reds for the mutated flesh sections and it will contrast well with the base armor colors while keeping a theme. One thing that I have found is that graphone sepia over bleached bone gives a good ivory look.

Bone might be interesting. I Haven't painted bone since my Dark reapers in my Eldar army... hmmm...

Bone with boltgun metal, tin bits and shinging gold trim would be awesome. maybe left side gold right side boltgun metal, trim wise, and then have some of the other accents in tin bitz... it would be awesome thanks!

I had to use the SM painter, But I got the scheme i think... I like it a lot!

I like the gold, it goes with the the idea for my army... the gold trimed shoulder, will have a variable inset color pending squad... for instance the squad which runs meltaguns will all have red gore insets, while the my dedicated plasma squad will have dark angels green, I may even attempt to have bone colored zerkers with custom mixed brass trim and blood spatters...

I'm trying to figure out what color inset to use for my chosen... maybe yellow or Ice blue...

This is the colors I use for my 1k sons, it looks better on them than my picture because they have alternating bone and red headdresses. Seems similar to some of your ideas but with more red.

Edit: sorry the picture is being stupid, It shows up in the preview but not the actual post.
