Is there a use for these outside of decoration? I would be hard pressed to hit my table (gaming or not) with a chunk of metal like that. Aluminum is not super heavy, but still.
have to agree,i have a nice oak table that we play board games and such on, i wouldnt want to be rolling metal dice on that, also they seem quite pricey for a gimic dice, not to mention will they stand up to being dropped off the table?aluminium is light but its not massively resilient, is it gonna get bent out of shape if a dice get dropped on the floor?

Also, are they random? Dice manufacture is moderately complex to get one that is evenly weighted. Is that doable within the cage? I figure the different drillings for numbers will unbalance the die unless you fill them with an equal density resin or something.

I get why they're that expensive, but maybe it shouldn't be stated that they're something apprentices figure out how to build on their lunch breaks

Being strangely into dice I like where you're going with this. Are you going to stick with metal dice only? It's....frustrating looking for Scatter dice that aren't white or included in a GW dice cube.
