Wolf Lord joins the Wolf Guard unit, Wolf Priest and Rune Priest join the two Grey Hunter units. The Wolf Scouts are there to deal with annoying Eldar Rangers, Imperial Guard Artillery, Tau Ethereals, and Chaos Havocs etc. My main enemy is Eldar, and sometimes fighting Tyranids or Chaos. They all contain MCs so Saga of the Beastslayer is there to kill Avatars, DPs and Trygons/Tyrants and so on and so forth. Against hordes, Rune Priest will take Living Lightning and Jaws of the World Wolf. Against smaller, more elite armies, I'll take Living Lightning and Murderous Hurricane. This may change once I've played a few games.

A slayer with no invul save? Frost Blade, Storm Shield, Warrior Born is all you need. I prefer TWC for the base T5.

Rune Priest 110
Chooser of the Slain
Which powers? Based on what you have (mech), Storm Caller and Murderous Hurricane are solid).

Wolf Priest 115
Wolftail Talisman
Wolftooth Necklace
Too pricey, not killy, too fragile, and his PE only worked on one unit type.

Wolf Guard Pack 159
Herek Ironhand
Hartok the Vanquisher
Yorikk Stonebrow
Drop Pod
Meh, awful pricey.

5 Wolf Scouts 85
Meltagun
Unreliable, easy to mitigate. Decent in a Podding army, just needs more melta.

Venerable Dreadnought 230
Wolftooth Necklace
Drop Pod
Deathwind Missile Launcher
Deathwind is useless when you land, Ven Dreads are too pricey when melta kills you just as dead.

9 Grey Hunters 200
Drop Pod
Meltagun

You need 10 men for 2 meltas.

10 Blood Claws 230
Power Fist
Drop Pod

WS3 FTL.

9 Grey Hunters 190

Naked GH, why?

I'm not a fan really. Pod armies are far too easy to render useless with good deployment or simply going into reserve. You need extra mobility or reach to help if the enemy tries to outmaneuver you.

If you're set on Podding, re-jig your units so they maximize melta while still remaining good in HtH. WG w/ PF and combi-melta helps loads.

WG can pack heavy weapons if you bring Terminators, and cyclones help with your range problems in a big way.

Dreads and Speeders give you mobile firepower to drop in and support.

Mech and/or cavalry gives you a lot more options to build a reliable, flexible army.

Yeah..... this list doesn’t make much sense..... at all. Look up the SW tactica in the tactics section; figure out what you want this list to do and come back. BTW drop pod armies are cool for fluff but easy as shit to counter.

Ok, I'll make a new thread for the new list and rid myself of these troublesome units such as the Wolf Priest and the Drop Pods.
