>> Because I dont want a specific legion. I will probably add noise marines if I expand the pts. The fact that their called Children of Despair may be a pointer aswell. :D

If it were me i'd use noise marines as troops, as they give that tactical advantage against hoards, the blastmaster is awesome, and there cool. Also they can be the elite part of your army, the ones that have shown themselves to be the most dedicated to slannesh and have been rewarded for it

>> What I want to do is play a few games wi csm wi icon of slannesh, then add noise marines as JIg said, like an elite selection. I understand what you are saying, sonic weapons give definite flexibiliy. Cheers for your input, anymore appreciated.

I like it. Your havocs aren't particularly optimized for a role, which is never good, but I like that you've not taken Noise Marines. I'm increasingly convinced the Noise Marines entry is really meant to represent Emperor's Children, and not other devotees of Slaanesh. Since the army isn't Emperor's Children... yeah.

>> Im always the same wi heavy squads. I like them to be versatile. H/bolters for troops and light armour, missiles for troops and any armour, and las for the big shit. Just my way.

>>Was thinking of changing 2 of the termies to carry ranged weapons, adding a little firepower to squad. Good idea or nae?

Either way. The squad is really configured as an assault squad as it stands, and you do have a little ranged punch in the form of the heavy flamer and combi-bolter on the Aspiring Champion. It's not much, but it gives you a little bit of kick at about 8'' out.

taking at least a reaper autocannon and combi-melta should give the unit some ranged punch without affecting there combat abilities too much.
