When you were a kid what did you want to be?

I wanted to be a firefighter. That may happen still as a freind of mine is a volunteer one, and he was saying the benefits of it. Didn't sound too bad.

You are currently training for my dream job Jac. Was then, still is. Just can't give up an Auto Industry job and ask that sacrifice of my family now. Good luck mate.

I wanted to be a firefighter. Then my dad became one. Kind of sucked the fun out if it.
I wanted to be a games designer, then I realised I found lines of code tedious.
I went to Uni to do a Philosophy degree, and now I'm perfectly happy sticking with academia for a while.

I want to become a videogame designer, and that code doesn't scare me. It's been my dream job to make videogames since I was little, and I still want to. The only other thing I would be is an owner of a video game company, so that I can make videogames and run my own business. Or an artist, but even then I would still do concept arts on thse side.

well, technically I'm still a kid, but my dream job is to be a conservationist (I love birdys!). Also, another idea is to become a games designer (which, technically, I already I am)

mine was, and still is, is to become an elite soldier, the SAS type. and im already on my way there.
I seriously dispute that.

A REME friend of mine passed selection back in 2003. The guy was 100% dedicated to training and the army. You'd see him out running his dog into the ground every day. The dog was always fucked struggling to keep up!

Every young soldier goes into the army saying the same thing. Two years in you learn to skive and realise workng hard doesn't earn you more money. Soon drink takes over and you start to lose motivation, I was pissed probably 5 nights a week back then.

What exactly have you acheived to get you on to the SAS?

i had my heart set on becoming an aeronautical engineer for about a year during high school...don't know what the hell i was thinking. after that brief period of madness passed, i decided to stick with what i'm actually good at. so now, it's either a lawyer or an historian...how's that for a 180 shift??
