Very nice model. I like it a lot. The one thing I really don't like is the writing on the base. The messy writing takes away from what is on the whole a good paint job.

What kind of paint are you using, oils? That model is super shiny and makes me think you use oil paints.

It's the clearcoat. I'm using normal acrylics, btu my clearcoat isn't matte.

looking good cant really see any shading or highlighting but it is a nice mini, well posed

Looks nice but personally I have to agree with Khorne's Fist. Although I may be quite biased as I never like text on bases unless you are using a display base with a plaque on it.

Also it's a shame about the non Matte finish of your clearcoat. It's detracting from the model in my opinion.

Nice conversion though by the way .

Ya. I don't like the non-matte, but gotta use what I've got until I get paid and can go get some new clearcoat.

And as far as shading and highlights, there aren't alot that you can see in the pictures. In person, though, you can see the highlights on the wings and the plasma, as well as the shading on the flesh and robes. You kind of lose it in the picture because of the clearcoat.
