Thanks Stella!

Is that the..."Masters of the Chapter?" Or something else?
its either masters of the chapter, or something, I couldn't remember at the time, I was too distracted by the stupidity of the terminus

Cheers Stella, great pics I'm a fan of the Chapter Masters. They look very fancy and pous, kinda like what all SM's should look like idealy (or at least as the fluff portrays them).

What the hell is that Land Raider, it looks as if a LR and a Pred got in a car accident and the Tech Preists only thought one vechile there was enough parts for one tank afterwards.

Is that 8 lascannons?

What the hell is the justification for that?

I see the new Baneblade has a fellow runner in the race to see which Tank is the most hideous then.

3 twin-linked, and 2 normal, HOWEVER if it rolls 3 or more ones when shooting, before twin re-rolls, it automatically takes a penetrating hit, which is stupid.

and this wins on dumbest looking tank, at least the baneblade is a half arsed atempt, this THING is the opposite

I still don't see the point, its no good as anti-tank because as soon as your enemy sees it he's going to pour fire into it faster than water out a tap. It's pointless.

Dang that Terminus landraider is ugly...and impractical. The fire arcs of the back turrets are a bit weird, ah well more stuff for the Tau to blow up.

The rest is all pretty cool, personally would have liked the chapter masters to have a bit more dynamic poses. But their detailing is superbly done, lovely chaos vindicator too

to be honest, i'm a little disappointed. theyre nice models that would make good Chapter Masters, but i thought we were getting a chapter council, master of the fleet etc. where the hell are they? they just look like hardass marines, not specialists.

That's a silly expectation. What did you think, that they're going to send organisational specialists who excel at making things be in the right place into a war in their fancy suits? They wouldn't send them in at all, firstly because they aren't combat roles, secondly because the benefit of heroic leadership is completely wasted when you aren't actually a fighting member of the chapter, and thirdly because they're far too valuable to use in a manner that has no tangible benefits whatsoever.

And then, even if they did send them in, they aren't going to be in frilly robes. The ruling council of a hyperelite military organisation will inevitably consist of hardasses. The highest ranking people get the best wargear. The members of the Space Marines are not morons, and do not go into battle in their frilly robes. As such, the logical conclusion is that if they were to be depicted on a battlefield they would be shown as hardasses with fancy gear in Power Armour. Funnily enough, that is exactly what you get here.

i realise that, i just thought we'd get less combaty more talky guys, their role in apocalypse is, afterall, to introduce special rules. if they do represent key mmbers of the high command theres nothing on their armour to denote their position at all.

As for the Terminus... it probably is there purely to play Titan Hunter, albeit in a very ugly fashion. No self-respecting Techmarine would allow something as hideous as that to roll off the assembly line, and they certainly wouldn't overwire a Land Raider chassis with so many lascannons as to have a potentially fatal blowout in the middle of a firefight.

If its designed as a titan killer it had better have structure points because every anti-armour weapon in a army is going to be winging its way towards it as soon as it gets placed on the board.

I think the baneblade looks quite nice actually, although bear in mind I've seen it in person. That terminus looks really half assed, like some drunken techmarines wandered into the chapter forge and decided,

"Dude! I got it! Eight lascannons!"
