Well here is a Termi chap that i have been working on......
.....and i have to say i hate it but i thought i'd show you before it takes a nice nitro bath and gets re-painted.

Here is the Avenger (Logain) that i was telling you about, nothing special but was trying be be neat with this as i painted it, its also done from white undercoat but looks washed in this pic as it is a little darker

And also a test piece, i'm trying a few ideas on how i want ny marine army to look.

Anyway back too painting something special for the mini exchange :victory:

I like the position you have got with the marine sergeant. I think that getting natural-looking positions, especially for moving figures, is quite often done badly but here it is good.

I don't hate your chaplain as much as you do, vut I feel your pain. Sometimes you finish a figure and it just isn't quite what you wanted. One thing you might try is some orange (not red) ink on the red areas, as I find that it makes the colour a lot richer. If you haven't yet cleaned the fig then it might be worth trying before you do.

Cheers mate! looks great your right it does look light and working up from a black undercoat is totally new for me it just paid off for me. I toyed with going with my own colour scheme for my eldar but decided against it in the end out of laziness. what has he got in his right hand?

I must say i love your bases they really add to the models character, also the chaplin, he looks great and id hate to see him go myself but it always comes down to how happy ones self is with it come the end, i end up poking away at any model that doesn't excite my interest in some way.
My favorite parts are the scroll down his front and the detail youve got on his helmet, very very nice.

The marine looks great too, is he done with foundation paints?
