well heres some of the guys i have painted so far, along with the apostle ive converted,

What model is that Dark Apostle though?

I think thats a Chappy with a big Chaos star on his back!

Yup hes a marine chappy with a chaos star on his back, made from a trimmed down over sized chaos vehicle iron halo/trophy rack, and some trimmed down chainsword blades to fit between the rack and the backpack to represent the top half of the eight sided star of chaos, as well as on his power fist, there is a combi bolter i made by trimming down two bolt pistols on the other side of the fist and sticking them together

Again sorry about how blurry it is i will try to get some better pics up but its a general idea of the paint job at least, just cant see clearly

Ahh, thought it might be a special character as I didn't recognize the model itself (I did know what the star was however ). Not overly familiar with all the SM models as I have never played them or picked them up beyond a casual glance.

anyways another thing im going to try to do with apostle once i get to painting him is since hes still got some SM symbols do eight sided stars on them much like traitor marines do, as well as representing the dark apostles "Litany of the anti-Imperium" demagogue/speech/battle cry

Sweet another Word Bearer fanatic, real inventive use of the best chaplain model for the dark apostle.

The pictures are a bit blurry, but it definitely looks interesting!

Looks cool, but I'd try to make it a little more Chaosy, if you know what I mean. As it is now, from what I can tell from the picture, it still looks way too much like you just took the Chaplain model and stuck the Star on his back. Mess around with the Crozius maybe. Just change it around a little more, y'know?

Was thinking about adding some spikes or something too his knees, just one or two more basic things, but nothing too much since alot of the chaos things will come with the paint

I want him to look spacemarine like in body, but with the paint it will show his anti-imperiumness :lol:
