Just wanting to know if it is better to have a 10 man squad or 5 man squads of reguler CSM??

10 man strong lets you take an additional special weapon. The cult troops (noise marines, plague marines etc) have ways to work around this while having less than 10.

I would say 10 is best for regular CSM

And ten is what you get in the box. Has anyone noticed that almost all Cult Troops are cheaper than standard CSM now? Admittedly, you get less in the box (Apart from the 'zerks) but they are Cult Troops. Hoorah! May as well get Battleforces if you want basic troops now.

10 is the magic number for non-cult CSM, because it allows you to take an additional special weapon while still packing into a Rhino. The only reason to have less than 10 is if you take 9+HQ in a Rhino.

On the flip side, Chosen squads usually work well in suicide squads of five.
