well theres one army in the CSM dex (steel breathern?) and they use rginos and drop pods now i was thinking of doing something along this line, but how would i field the drop pods? would i just agree with my oppenent about them? or should i just leave the idea alone.

just use the drop pods from Imperial armour 2006, the dreadclaws, there drop pods for chaos

Yep DreadClaws.. bout the same price.. no weapons on it tho, but by its rules it doesnt count as immobilised once its down so no free points for your opponent. Otherwise it is a drop pod for all other intents and purposes.. same model count/restrictions.

Isn't it a flyer that can move after offloading the cargo? I could be wrong, never actually saw one or the rules for it. I would LOVE to be able to use drop pods though.

Nope.. just a drop pod.

Fluff wise they are supposed to be reusable afterwards though if I remeber right... their assualt craft.. designed not only to drop into orbit but also to punch through ship armor for assualting ship to ship in space.

Image a drop pod with 4 mean pincers on it and a drill like head if i remeber right.

well cause of where i live getting rules for the dreadclaws and the model is annoying, would it be possible to make up my own? and use the SM one with spikey bits?
